In certain areas, we use the third-party library Syncfusion for processing PDF documents. In this context, we have identified that the specialized PDF/X format is currently not supported.
Please pay particular attention to the following:
– Since version 2025.1, the creation of PDF/X documents is no longer supported.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to:
- If you are using PDF/X documents in your processes or are planning to use this format, please contact us at pdfx@ferber-software.de .
- Additionally, please check whether switching to an alternative PDF format is possible within your processes.
With your feedback, you help us to:
- better assess the actual demand
- evaluate possible workarounds or alternatives
- and, if necessary, prioritize appropriate adjustments or enhancements
