Our partner procilon has provided us with a new version of the beA component (proDesk Framework Service v1.14.0-5), which is compatible with Law Firm Software Interface Version 10 (KSW V10), which has been in force since 10 June 2026.
Important notes:
- To use the new beA component, an e-patch for your version of IKAROS is currently (as of early July 2026) still required; you can request this from us (if you have not already done so).
- In addition, the new beA component requires Java version 17 (or higher), which must be installed on workstations running the beA component (previously, Java version 8 was sufficient).
The following versions of IKAROS will directly support the new beA component, meaning that an e-patch will no longer be required:
- 2024.1 P4 (expected to be available in September 2026)
- 2025.1 P2 (expected to be available in July 2026)
- 2026.1 (expected to be available at the end of 2026)
The new version of the beA component for IKAROS is now available on our FTP server at
„/kunden/wartung/beA Component (IKAROS Electronic Legal Transaction)/“. The setup can be used both for an initial installation and to update an existing installation.
Affected users have already been informed separately by email about the provision of the additional e-patches required for IKAROS. If you are affected by the beA issue but have not yet received an email regarding this, please contact our support team.
